Review at Chick Lit Love

Yes, this is a sassy, rough, tough story about discovering your stronger side- however, underneath this lies the golden seam of a love story- not your average “boy meets girl” type- but a love story between three friends. That’s what made this such a great read for me.

Review at Little Miss Literature

Although I enjoy chick-lit, some books can seem rather ‘samey’ but I never really knew where The Bad Girls’ Club was going to go next…such a refreshing change.

The Bad Girls' Guide to Cheeses at Chick Lit Chit Chat

The Bad Girls’ Club is the story of three gouda girls who camembert it any longer, so they break the fettas of niceness – it’s about dares, it’s about sex but mostly, it’s about friendship… and cheeses.

Review at Pure Jonel

While making you laugh out loud, this book really makes you stop and think about your life. It makes you contemplate stepping out of your comfort zone and finding the real you. It also makes you realize how important good friends and a good book are.

Review at Wolf Pack Book Club

Kathryn O’Halloran did an excellent job in creating characters that are realistic. We all know a Juliette — an extra sweet quiet girl. Beth — seems stuck up but sweet and never seems to get a break. Imogen — seems tough but she is really a sweetheart. This is a charming story, that is funny at times, sexy at others, and an all around joy to read.

Review at Chick Lit Plus

This book is hilarious and has some really great scenes that will leave you laughing out loud long after you’ve finished reading the lines. I think Kathryn did such an amazing and fun job creating such great female characters that form such a wonderful bond with one another. These gals are a riot and I loved their friendship! Overall, this book is really fun and I think that any gal looking for a fun and slightly raunchy read will definitely enjoy this book!

Review at The Book Geek Wears Pajamas

Kathryn O'Halloran has certainly pulled out a cracker here. She's been clever and confident with her characters and her personality and charm capture every page. It's fresh and current which takes it to another level. It's not too sexy but has enough in to be a tad racy. All in all it's a really good read. Really enjoyable. Full of drama, sex, cat fights, bitching, dares, and fun. As a girl you can’t really ask for more can you?

Review at Julie's Chick Lit

...this is a really witty book. And it’s appropriately rated R with its sexiness, language and more sexiness. So to sum up, it’s freaking RAWResome. Would you expect anything else from a book about bad girls?

Review at Best Chick Lit

Although the women experience vicious cat fights, erotic three-somes and high-society food fights, the ‘Bad Girls Club’ is more a story of self-discovery and friendship than hardcore erotica.  Think the friendships and sauciness of ‘Sex and the City’ mixed with the awkward hilarity of ‘Bridget Jones’ Diary’ and you won’t be far off.  O’Halloran has created a thoroughly enjoyable story with characters the reader can easily identify with and just the right amount of raciness to keep the reader hooked from beginning to end.

Review at Chick Lit News and Reviews

I enjoyed this book, while the dares were a huge part of the book the main focus was on the girls relationships, how they got along and how each dare affected them. The characters were all believable, there was a little of me in each one which helps give a better understanding to how each character works. Their antics were really funny and this book had quite a few laugh out loud moments.

Interview at Erotica For All

What’s your favourite published work of yours and why?

I really love the short story, I Always Cry in the Rain, in my collection DESIRE.  It’s a story people seem to either love or hate but for me the idea of having a quickie in a summer rain storm is hot.  Also, it contains my favourite kind of sex – angry sex.  There is not enough angry sex in erotica, I think.

  Review at I Heart Books

I found the story to be an easy read that at times will make you laugh out loud, its a great pick me up for those rainy days.

And as a single girl its great to read a book that shows its ok to be single, in fact its great to be single.

Your new book is called The Bad Girls Club, could you please tell me about this?
The Bad Girls’ Club is a club for recovering nice girls, pushing you out of your comfort zone and into crazy adventures. If you’ve ever stuck by a sweet but boring boyfriend, a crazy bitch boss or a friend who drives you nuts with their constant demands then the Bad Girls’ Club is for you.

Guest post for Susie @ xanaxjunkee; on how research for The Bad Girls' Club got me into a sticky situation at a sex shop.

One of my favorite bloggers Kathryn just put out a new book.  And any publicity is good publicity right?  So I offered her up a guest blog post.  The above is a little blurb of what her new book is all about.  I always kind of wondered how writers get their ideas for their books.  And Kathryn was kind enough to share with me one of her "research" stories.  If you all recall, I used to work in an Adult Video store and talked about it here, here and here.  During the time I worked in an AV store I too had to deal with shoplifters, her story tops my shoplifter stories.

Interview with Indie Author Land; about The Bad Girls' Club

What kind of scrapes do Imogen, Beth and Juliette get into?
The one that was most fun for me to write was a scene where the three girls go to a low-rent male strip show and end up getting into a girl fight with some of the other patrons.  Imogen gets up to some internet dating with disastrous results. Juliette gets a makeover as well as having more fun than she thought at an S&M club.  Beth gets herself into an awful scrape at a work function.
